six point seven billion illusionists today on this globe seeking consensus of the senses
declaring the colors reflected by the eye to the brain are actually on the canvas and the illusion of art continues
sifting vibrations through ear canals mimicking back out the nice ones to deliver a wondrous sound and the illusion of music resonates
labeling objects by creating words creating categories by building language and the illusion of literature swirls in the air while the illusion of science arranges pieces on the ground
six point seven, growing no major train wreck in sight such is the consensus of the illusory senses tonight

Lee, I'm impressed, but I'm also 1/2 a bottle of gin shy of a consensus..., now as long as there is no train wreck in sight we'll deal with the reality... The poem is good enough to earn its own controversy...

This is a very strong piece. Shades of "Matrix."
