moth.
six arms and antennas.
I went for a night on the town
checked out all the hotspots
shook the dust off an old set of wings.
yesterday I woke up in a texas wheat field (maybe it was maize)
a cornfed pupa, a breastfed pup
a young life destined to age things
to turn cotton into lace
and anger old women
the mornings are like saunas here
and the flies don’t love me any more
woe is me, woe is me, woe… is…
I’m hanging upside down on a fluorescent lightbulb
when I hear the faint sound of an ice cream truck
//sticky milk
water traps under darkroom desklamps
the chupacabra is a devious one
my brother does a breaststroke impression.
pounding his legs like a hailstorm on pavement
heaving his thorax. helpless.
a bird lumbers past. winged tsunami
beating the air like hay fever sneezes
or vaccuming dust
or moths from ceiling fans
six arms and antennas
… 4, 3, 2, none.

Great serio-comic piece. Find yourself a better used forum or publish this.
