i get asked a lot of questions…
there was a time when the only thing i’d get asked is “do you want fries with that?”
but now, i seem to get asked for my opinion on things.
i don’t know why that is, and frankly, i don’t like it.
i don’t really care to share my opinions,
mostly because i don’t think it matters.
i try to be polite, but every now and then i get a question that sets me off…
something that kinda brings out the devil in me.
like today… i get this e-mail that asked:
“i’m a big fan of your books and i’m also a philosophy major. i’d be very interested in hearing your opinion on the difference between believing and knowing…”
it was just too easy.
i couldn’t resist.
i wrote back and said:
“dear sir; i got your e-mail asking for my thoughts on the difference between believing and knowing…
well, honestly, i believe i just don’t know.”
