What scares me about the magic princess is that I can upset her with careless words,
like in a Grimms fairy tale where one accidental word can change a world so delicately balanced on the edge of a knife.
In the bleakness of that kindom, everything is a search for words, magic words to still the air, magic words to release fortune.

I love the apposition (is that the right word?) of magic and very human fear ... words can be so destructive, we don't always know what to say (hardly ever really) and yet everything waits .. poised ... on the edge this poem describes .. enchanting, this!

i find invigorating the way you control the shifting pace of a poem... leaps with the casual poise of a dolphin ...

Quite an enjoyable read my friend. Great flow and thought provoking. I found myself reading this ten times, and enjoyed it a bit more with each read.
I "Kindom" supposed to be "Kingdom"?
Keep up the great work you do around here, thanks for sharing Don!
Smiles! Bobby

Oh these horrible littel typing errors. The discrovery of such and error means that it is everywhere I posted the poem and I am much too lazy to fix it. Thanks for your kindness Bobby
