Me and apple wine and Camel Light were out on the balcony tonight contemplating things like moments of clarity and science.
Lighting flashes sporadically like dying lightbulbs and rain non-commitally drizzles against the window.
The despondent orographic drippings of clouds hung out to dry as the local god asks of our faith what we’ve done with its body, along with our patience, our mislaid penitence, waiting for a real jolt to send us on our way.
Lightning is created by an imbalance they say, a slasher of meteorological doldrums. The moon’s sway not all harmony and tides.
Waiting for the next crack of breach, the very rare thing does arise. I wait and I spy with my little mind, something that is clean.
Silly mind.
