you are so right bernie, many thanks...need also to replace the second 'silence' ... was a quicky one i developed on journal and things look much clearer the day after ...the poem reflects humanity's concurrent struggle with self and the elements of which the sea is one of the most enigmatic ... peace

who owns this silence that laps the sea: languishing entrepot of elegant movement relieved diaspora suddenly done
and notes of bechstein celebrate echoes that rise and fall into half deaths shattering fragments of colors arranged pantheistically on a palette designed by mithras
look at our eyes we have finally become half alive

used to call that generation gap possibly brought on by woman's liberation...captured the specific emotion with the ease of a leaf moving in a breeze

rendezvous hums across light gleaming spare impressions through crimson limestone: setting sun a semaphore cupola hurling messages to somewhere where psychedelic green grazes

good to hear that bernie...the work you put in is little compared to trhe vision and purpose you give...i spend most of my little free time here...yes this poem is an example of how a poem can develop even in the most hopeless of circumstances...thanks once again for being a superlative catalyst peace...and keep shooting at it no problem

i see her
must have been ten years since we last met
we waive heartily
I even remember her lips
how completely do i remember her lips
yet her name...
her name escapes me
how completely does her name escape me
donoma her name must be donoma
she left just before the rain

bernie, when the portugese discovered port, they actually stumbled unintentionally on the drink. they opened the forgotten barrel hoping for wine and yet time matured wine into port that is art for you...this is a stimulating read and does not matter much what you actually intended in the first instance lol...

i can understand don's sensation...in fact it brings feelings of turkish poetry and is not turkey oriental too...love the simple/enigmatic contrast that makes the reader flow beyond the poem's end...i very much share don's sensation

the link between diamond and time suddenly converts the diamond into a spaceship that arrives from a 100,000 year journey with the poise of a minute in space...is that as in eight line? keep writing...i'll keep reading ...take care

yes indeed..total romantic may mean fusing sex with love yet may have an inevitable ending as the physical attraction mutates to let the relationship melt into a new one...keeping a healthy sexual appetite alive is perhaps an important challenge to keep a relationship alive tru life...why is it important for a relationship to be life-long? who knows, perhaps a relationship does not depreciate at the same rate for both parties and breakups will leave one party badly scarred...bonding tru life may enhance quality of same life...yet i agree, a relationship without romance is a pretty bleak prospect
